On October 20, 2012, the popular Blackwater Half Marathon will be back for its second year after an amazing start in 2011. Set among the towering longleaf pines of the amazing Krul & Bear Lake Recreation Areas in the Blackwater River State Forest, this is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and challenging trail runs in all of Florida.  Added in 2012 will be a new 5K Fun Run that will provide a great opportunity for those looking to test the trail running waters.
